The Gaborone Rugby Football Club (GRFC), established in 1976, has a rich and proud rugby history. Known as the Gabs Hogs, we welcome players of all ages, and are committed to upholding the values of rugby. We currently have three Senior Men’s teams, a Women’s team, our proud Hogs Monnamogolos, Junior Hogs (age 13-17) and Mini Hogs (age 6-12). Our men and women consistently achieve national representation, playing for the Vultures in both 7s and 15s. If you’d like to play rugby, learn how to play rugby, or become a fan of our teams, you will always be welcome at Hogs.

The Tlamelo Vultures project introduces rugby and the values of rugby to young children from Old Naledi. Through rugby, they find support and mentorship, as well as friendship and physical fitness. Since 2014, many of these Tlamelo Vultures have found a home at Hogs, and continue to play rugby for the Club. There are Tlamelo Vultures participating in rugby at all levels at our Club, from our Mini Hogs up to our 1st XV, and some have been selected to represent Botswana. The GRFC are very proud supporters of this initiative.
